D'Jay Kelly
Sensei D'Jay is a Black Belt "Shodan" in Kodokan Judo and the Chief Instructor of the BEDROC Kids and Teens Judo Programs. D'Jay has over 11 years of Judo experience, and is USJA Coach Certified in Judo.
RECENT PERSONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
D'Jay has an impressive Judo Shiai and Kata Competition record as well as being a motivating and highly competent Judo Instructor. D'Jay has also successfully competed in Submission Grappling and is a Grappling Referee for local tournaments. D'Jay is currently working on his Degree in Child Psychology.
Jenn Samborski
Jenn is a Brown Belt in Kodokan Judo and the Assistant Instructor of the BEDROC Kids and Teens Judo Programs. Jenn has a unique teaching style that stresses a classical Judo approach. With over 12 years of Judo experience, Jenn's teaching focuses on the Traditions and Discipline of Judo.
RECENT PERSONAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Jenn is a two time representative for Western Region Empire State Games in Judo. She has competed in Several Submission Grappling tournaments to Include the NYS Championships and Hayastan in both Gi and No Gi. Jenn is a International level Shiai and National level Kata competitor in Judo. Jenn is a USJA Life Member.
Pat Turgeon
Pat is a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu which he received in May of 2006 under Marco Alvan and Gabriel Gonzaga and runs the Beginers / Introductory / Basics BJJ Classes at BEDROC. Pat also received his 3rd Degree Black Belt "Sandan" in Isshinryu Karate under Sensei Seth Wilkinson in May of 2006. Pat moved from Massachusetts to Rochester and began training with Sensei John in August of 2008. Pat concentrates more on teaching and coaching than competition, but still managed to place first at NAGA, Rhode Island in 2006 and second at the Tri Combat Challenge Grappling tournament in 2008. Pat is a Grappling Referee, owns his own remodeling company here in Rochester and recently became a father.
Thomas Kuno van der Horst
Tom started training with Sensei John in the summer of 2007 and is a Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu with the World Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Association. He has since compiled a 6-2 Amatuer MMA record, an extensive BJJ / Grappling resume and is now 2-0 as a Pro Mixed Martial Arts Fighter. Expect Big Things...

Cheryl Ellenwood
Cheryl is a former Virginia Beach Police Officer who has a wealth of fitness knowledge and experience. She is a certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor and was a finalist in the 2001 Bill Phillips Body for Life Competition. As a Police Officer Cheryl was Certified in Self Defense and Various level of Weapons Trainings. She holds a yellow belt in Japanese Jiu Jitsu and is a four stripe white belt in Brazilian Ju Jitsu. Cheryl competes in Grappling Tournaments and in her first NAGA Tournament decided to skip the Novice division and entered the Beginner division competing against girls half her age... She placed 3rd. Cheryl is also a local grappling tournament referee and Head Matchmaker for the BEDROC MMA Program. With Cheryl as the Matchmaker, the BEDROC Fight record is 3-0 Pro and 3-1 Amature.

Kitty Teresi
Kitty, a former United States Marine, began gaining her fitness experience in "The Corps". Kitty has over twenty years of experience in Combat and Personal Sports Training, Sport Specific Conditioning, Fitness Managment and Martial Arts. She is a Black Belt "Shodan" in Tae Kwon Do and also has experience in Isshinryu Karate and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Kitty has worked with all age groups and skill levels to help them look and feel their best.
