Paulo Filho is a member of the legendary Brazilian Top Team and very good friend of TEAM LINK Head Coach Marco Alvan.  A Black Belt in both Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo, This young star has won three Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World Championships, five Brazilian National Jiu Jitsu Championships. Paulo is also undefeated in MMA and sports wins over two of Japan's very best Middleweights in Yuki Kondo and Ikuhisa "The Punk" Minowa. Though Paulo can strike, he prefers to keep it simple, relying on his explosive takedowns with a mix of "ground and pound" and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. March 10, 2007 - The UFC came to BEDROC Martial Arts!!!!

BEDROC Martial Arts was proud to host a seminar with not one but two BJJ Black Belts Marco Alvan of Team LINK and his protege, ADCC Veteran and Undefeated UFC Fighter Gabriel “Napao” Gonzaga (7-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC). Marco and Napao stopped by and did a three hour half gi and half no gi seminar on the 10th of March prior to their trip to England April 21st to fight heavyweight Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic (22-4-2 MMA, 1-0 UFC) in UFC 70.
